Braces have really moved on in recent years and with Invisalign there’s no need for unsightly train track braces any more.
Gentle Dental provide Invisalign in Salisbury, allowing us to straighten your teeth more discreetly than ever before.
Currently we're the only dentist providing Invisalign in Salisbury that can take an impression of your teeth using just our 3d scanner. It’s much less invasive than traditional methods meaning there is no need to place a tray filled with gunk into your mouth. No goop, no gag, no worries.
Once we have taken the digital impression of your teeth we can demonstrate how your teeth could look on screen after the Invisalign treatment. If you're happy with what you see we'll send your details to the Invisalign laboratory to produce a technical animation of your teeth in the final position.
Once the experts have optimised the straightening you'll be able to see a time-lapse video of the straightening process and you'll know how long it will take. This is what is called a Clincheck
You'll be able to see how your teeth will look, and you can ask for changes if it isn't exactly what you're after. Once you are happy we'll get the aligners made.
Our Invisalign braces can work faster than traditional train track braces and have a more predictable outcome.
The Invisalign aligners are transparent, meaning that you can wear them far more discreetly than typical train track braces. Better still you can remove them for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth so you won't need to worry about food getting stuck in the braces.
Invisalign braces come as a set; you’ll use each one for 7-14 days before moving on the next stage. There’s no need to keep visiting us for a painful tightening like traditional dental braces, we’ll see you every 6-10 weeks to monitor progress and make sure the teeth straightening is going to plan in line with your Clincheck and make any changes if needed.
Once your teeth are in position it’s important to make sure they stay where they are. Teeth can drift back after a while so we provide you with an invisible retainer you can wear nightly to make sure your teeth stay straight.
