Gentle Dental in Salisbury is looking for a dental receptionist. Dental experience is essential and apologies, but applicants without this cannot be considered.
This is not your typical dental reception role; it is much more exciting. You are involved in the client journey, not just simply booking an appointment and taking money. We are a husband-and-wife clinical team (dentist and hygienist) without the usual dental practice hierarchy. Each team member is equally important and no one is too highly qualified to do the mundane jobs like clean a floor or loo. Without an amazing nurse or admin team member, great dentistry and a friendly clinician just isn’t enough. The customer service is really what keeps clients coming back and recommending us to others. We know that happy clients mean a happy team. Our reception team are the lynchpin of the practice. Your role is one of administrator, receptionist and client coordinator. In a typical day you will be: booking remote consultations; following up clients who have requested a call back, perhaps about booking a treatment plan or ways to spread treatment payments; preparing the necessary paperwork for upcoming appointments (medical history update, COVID-19 questionnaire, treatment consents); chasing up unreturned paperwork; answering the phones; contacting/registering new clients and explaining our new client journey; linking with the clinical team for triage on emergency queries; or arranging payment plans/finance.
