Teeth whitening (or teeth bleaching) is a simple treatment that will really boost your smile.
Teeth naturally yellow as you age, especially if you love drinks like coffee and red wine.
Whitening your teeth couldn’t be easier with Gentle Dental, we’ll provide you with a tray personally made for your teeth and whitening gel. You just need to wear the tray for a short while each day or overnight over a couple of weeks, and before you know it you’ll have whiter teeth.
If you would like to find out more about tooth whitening then get in touch with us to arrange a free chat.
The first step is to come into our Salisbury dental practice for a free chat, we’ll talk you through the teeth whitening process and answer any questions you may have. If you’ve not had a dental check-up recently you’ll need to have one.
We’ll take an impression of your teeth. We'll then send these to the laboratory so they can create custom made whitening trays for you.
We'll fit the tray and provide you with the tooth whitening gel. We will then have a chat about when is most convenient for you to use it. We can let you know how long it will take and demonstrate how to use it. At this point we will also check the shade of your teeth. All you need to do is use the tray with the teeth whitening gel as discussed.
We’ll review your progress in 2 weeks or so to make sure everything is going well and take a new shade of your teeth so you can see what has been achieved.
Before you know it your teeth will be whiter!
Better still you can keep the tray and reuse it in future as we can prescribe more teeth whitening gel.
We also offer power tooth whitening using our laser whitener. The process lasts 2 hours and you’ll see instant benefits! You'll then need to use the at home whitening kit as above for about a week afterwards to ensure prolonged results.
If you only want to brighten up your teeth a bit then you may find that a visit to Niamh, our dental hygienist is enough as she can brighten up and removing some staining.
It is always a positive experience with Niamh, the hygienist at Dental Gentle. She always lifts the spirits and is encouraging in maintaining good oral health. When she undertakes the process of debridement she is effective and efficient. Also she does allow short breaks and takes everything out of your mouth during the treatment which means that the whole process is a great deal less uncomfortable than it could be.
