Veneers are an increasingly popular cosmetic dental treatment. We provide great looking veneers in Salisbury to help improve your smile.

Rob has extensive training in the UK & US works with one of the top laboratories in the US who produce very thin veneers. This ensures a great looking result with minimal tooth removal.

While veneers can be used to repair broken teeth and wear, typically they’re more for cosmetic reasons.

Why have porcelain veneers

Dental veneers are a great way to to improve your smile by removing chips, cracks, gaps and stains, especially from your front teeth.

With dental veneers, as with most cosmetic dentistry, it is a case of getting what you pay for. Rob has dedicated a lot of time to perfecting dental veneers. Not only will your veneers be designed to perfectly match the surrounding teeth, we take a lot of care with your to ensure your teeth fit together perfectly. By making sure the fit is perfect your veneers should last longer.

Fitting porcelain veneers in Salisbury

How porcelain veneers improve your smile:

  • Repair tooth wear
  • Hide chips and uneven edges
  • Improve the colour of your teeth

We try to make the process of fitting veneers as easy as possible. Before we start we'll take a 3D scan and lots of photos of your teeth so the lab can plan how your final smile will look. We will then show you the plan before the treatment starts. We're currently the only dentist providing dental veneers in Salisbury with the means to to take digital impressions so there will be no need to place a tray filled with gunk in your mouth. No goop, no gag, no worries!

Once you're happy with the plan we’ll prepare your teeth and we will take another 3D scan and send this to the laboratory in order for your veneers to be made.

In the meantime we’ll fit you with temporary veneers to protect your teeth until the final veneers arrive, this is usually takes about four weeks. Your temporary veneers are almost as good as the real thing so at this stage you'll already see a huge change in your new smile!

After a few days Rob will check the shape and colour of the temporary veneers and send any final instructions to the laboratory.

Once we have the veneers back we will fit them. This is where Rob’s expertise and training at the KOIS center in Seattle comes into play as his careful planning means that you’ll be able to enjoy your dental veneers for years to come. We ensure that your teeth bite together correctly to avoid damage.

We'll make any final touches to the veneers to ensure they match your natural teeth.

Composite veneers

Composite veneers offer a less expensive way to achieve the same effect as a veneer.  A composite veneer is made from the same material as white dental fillings, the material can be used to replace the front of your teeth in the same way as a veneer or fix imperfections.

As always Rob’s excellent skills mixing the material to the perfect shade for your mouth and applying it to build up your teeth. It’s a perfect way to seamlessly cover up chips and other imperfections.

Composite veneers aren't as long lasting, and you will need to maintain them more by rebuilding them every few years.
